Lake breaking news from the PMO!

As an addendum to news about the Cabinet shuffle, PMO is also announcing that the PM will create a National Security council-style Cabinet committee on national security and intelligence. While there are no details as yet, media is reporting that a PMO spokesperson identified the new NSC as a “forum for ministers to deliberate on and address issues of pressing concern to Canada’s domestic and international security.”

Much needed. More details please.

Now Ministers can role up their sleeves in a new committee setting to address all the other outstanding issues as Canada reorients its national security system.
