You were recommended to me by Paul Wells…I may have to rethink this choice after reading this opinion.

A public inquiry is needed.

We can not rely on only Johnston's opinion.

Johnston is very compromised and, with more integrity, would have declined the appointment.

Wark seems to be following the Trudeau Liberal party line. Disappointing.

Wait a minute. Why is it that the collective Laurentian Elite is of the opinion that it is perfectly justified for the former GG to “rule” (despite his astonishing conflicts of interest on several levels) ... and to carry on with a process in which he will rule once again, but the Opposition is somehow more delusional, and less aware of established norms (democratic & judiciary) because they want this very serious national security matter reviewed by a judicially qualified, neutral third party instead of Mr. Trudeau’s life-long friend, skiing buddy & fellow Sinophile? Hmmmm. Interesting take, Mr Wark.

Or maybe the “storied” RCMP could rush in on their horses (we know they can do it because they had no hesitation during the Freedom Convoy) and enforce the laws of the land that exist. Such as closing foreign police departments on Canadian soil. What a fantasy! However, their task force dealing with money laundering in BC was recalled in 2016 for “lack of results” under this Trudeau government. Alas, this dream is also a fantasy I fear.

Brilliant, and a very clear explanation of the limits of judges.

Thank you for promoting your link so I can promote facts. I suggest reading “Wilful Blindness”, Sam Cooper, Amazon books. Truly non fiction, only the debilitating facts. Every Canadian should read.
